The domain name is expiring, and we've only just gotten our first piece of spam (a really good indication that this really is a bit of a failed experiment). This means that the wiki is disappearing. The server's being decommissioned. I don't think there was much useful information around - if there is, you better grab it before everything just goes away. The server should hopefully be going by the end of the month. Hopefully I'll get back to the original idea of getting old computers with Linux installed into schools. In the meantime, I've become involved with OLPC. Love the fact that the computers are there in support of other subjects rather than to learn computers. Also, there's the Creative Space - actually, we finally got a name. We are now "Creative Zone" - Auckland's answer to a hacker space. I'm interested in doing things like organising holiday programs and that sort of thing. It would make a world of difference to me if we can create opportunities for kids to get out of the "reading, writing, maths" pattern and into something that they can be enthusiastic about. And so, for now, that's all folks. Regards, Nevyn.
